Marvin served as Vice Chairman of the Michigan Global Partnership, and Chairman of the partnership’s Asia Division, which is a private-public economic development partnership involved in promoting the State of Michigan in international markets including Japan, Korea, and China.  Bill Schroer’s background includes 15 years of strategy/marketing/research with corporations including the Kellogg Company. He started WJSchroer Co.in 1987 and was a pioneer in using corporate marketing techniques with non-profit and public sector organizations to bring about social change. Bill not only consults with a wide range of public and private sector organizations, he teaches seminars and classes on marketing, research and planning. Bill serves as Chairman of the Downtown Partnership Board in Battle Creek,is formerly President of the Leila Arboretum Society and serves on the Japan-American Society of Southwest Michigan. He also also serves on the Board of the Naturist Society. Bill has a B.A. from the University of Wyoming and MBA from Western Michigan University. Bill served in the military as a Special Forces team leader and as instructor at West Point. He retired as a Major from the Reserve Forces.
